Sumner Meadows Golf Links is a Public , 18 hole golf course located in Sumner , Washington.
Sumner Meadows Golf Links first opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by John F. Harbottle, III.
The course closed in 2013. The city built the course 18 years earlier but still owed $5.8 million on the property and has struggled to make ends meet with the golf course through the years. Principal Financial Group has emerged as the winning bidder for the property at a reported 57 million dollars and plans to build an industrial park on the land. The city of Sumner will retain 138 of the 292 acres of the site. Wow, financially a great deal for the city.

The day I played they had sanded the greens on seven holes. The track always plays tough when there is any wind and you have a few risk/reward holes. For the price it is one of the best values in the valley.

They sent me a coupon for $15 on my next round, I probably won't use it. Course is in a valley, it stays wet, I'll try again in the summer, maybe...
